My name is Tim Moore.   I'm running to represent the South-West-Central part of Springfield on the Sangamon County Board.

I’m a Springfield native, who returned home after some time in the Army, where I met my lovely wife, Donna.

We have seven (yes, not a typo!) children.  Chances are, our kids are better known to you than I am. Or, you and I may have spoken recently, as went door-to-door electioneering prior to Nov 4th. (sorry if I missed you!).

Will Rogers
This blog is an attempt to let you know what issues arise from the Sangamon County Board and it's monthly dealings and oversight of spending.   I'm no Will Rogers, but hope to address issues with humor and some insight.

Some of these issues may be directly related to County Government.  Other issues may focus on the City of Springfield or other cities and towns, or perhaps as an issue may affect the School District or other governing body (of which there are many). Sometimes I may just talk about bees or my fledgling orchard that is located in rural Sangamon County.

I may also try to post an interview or two here.  But as this is an election-focused blog, it'll mainly serve as fodder for my campaign until further notice.

I will attempt to update this blog every other week, but sometimes more or less based on the issues or season or my otherwise hefty schedule.

I’ll likely post here and there, and let you know on FaceBook as well.  I’ll set up a special FB page for this.  But until then, check here.

I welcome your questions and comments.  And while healthy discussion is always appreciated, I don’t get into personalities or bad language, etc.  However, feel free to use your #$%#^*!  Words, I’ll get the message!

Until next time, whether I see you on the street or in the store or at Church or at a game, please say hello.
